Luna was bought by Krista's dad in Washington state back in 1998. It was equipped with a 360. The 360 had catastrophic failure not long after he bought it. While researching what to do with the engine, he discovered the VIN was for a 401 so he got a crate 401 for it, stock bore. She came with SOA and lift along with a nice set of twice pipes and Flowmaster mufflers. She was used mostly for pulling a horse trailer and some contruction work. Luna was a gift to Krista on her birthday in 2004. We did not do much to and for her until a couple years later when we started making her ready of more serious off road use.

The biggest upgrade in 2008 was the Warn XD9000i winch for Christmas.

The first time we took Luna into the San Juan Mountains was in 2000 for a recon for The Ouray FSJ Invasion that followed in 2002. Krista dropped her in the mud pit at the intersection of Engineer Pass and Poughkeepsie Gulch trails where she seemed to feel right at home
