This
Grand Wagoneer was new in Maine and lived for some time in Maryland.
It has typical east coast rust issues. The engine is a low mileage
stock replacemnt and has only 60k miles on it. The Jeep is named
after a great shark fisherman from South Texas. He is Fllint's
father and is the Beach Master of Padre Island. He gifted this
Jeep to Flint in 2005. Flint flew to South Texas and drove it
home in May of 2005. The picture above is the last trip this
Jeep made to Padre Island. It went to the Ouray FSJ Invasion
in 2005 as a back up FSJ. We thought it was "cool"
to have 3 FSJs at the event. We loaned it to friends to run
to Montrose for parts while we were all at the Invasion. The
front brake lines were badly rusted, failed and our dear friends
and the Jeep almost had a terrible accident. We trailered it
home the week after the Invasion and it has been parked since
then. It needs all the brake lines replaced and overhaul the
brake system. So it is resting until we can queue up repairs.
