Engineer to Animas Forks to Picayne Gulch

We took our time this day and rode Engineer Pass trail up to just below the last turn up to the pass then on to Animas Forks where we had lunch and a quick nap. Along the Engineer Pass trail there is a big puddle to play in where the trail forks to Poughkeepsie Gulch. After wandering the ghost town of Animas Forks, we rode Placer and Picayne Gulch trails before heading back to Ouray through Silver City.
